Sacred Plant Alliance is a non-profit association of churches committed to its tax-exempt purpose of its members’ advancement of religion, and to providing education, elimination of prejudice and discrimination, and defending the rights secured by law of sacramental communities in the United States.
Education on Best Practices and Ethical Standards
Provide information on organizational governance, membership policies and procedures, ethics and compliance matters, and best practices for health and safety, both to its members and the general public.
Peer Support and Network for Sacramental Communities
Provide a confidential forum for collaboration and mutual support among its members to engage in self-regulation, accountability, and improvement in their religious practices.
Defense of Legal Rights of Religious Use
Provide education on legal right to religious exercise; defend and clarify existing protected right and pathways to religious freedom through advocacy and legal efforts; and represent religious use in public dialogue.
